All About Books: By Shevon Whiteman -Joseph One of the writing strategies we discussed in this LIT 102 class is the creation of 'All About Me' books. This particular strategy stood out to me because it is geared toward young children. I have spent all of my years in teaching, working with students at the preschool and kindergarten levels, and as such, I am always looking for creative ways to get these kids writing. All about me books will allow my students to share information about themselves (e.g. their names, family, likes), or other topics of interest, while still teaching them the conventions of book writing.
